Getech supports a different charity each month. In April and May, the company donated money to the Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association and Sense About Science, respectively. June’s charity is the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Monthly proceeds from the tuck shop in the Leeds office are matched by the company, and the Charity Committee also arranges special funding activities. Over the last few months, the funding activities have included a bake sale and a jewellery sale. July’s funding activities will include a bake off competition and a treasure hunt.

Several Getech employees will also be supporting Days for Girls by making kits for them. In addition, the Charity Committee arranges a monthly themed collection from staff for charity shops (books or clothes) or for foodbanks (non-perishable food).
