Getech, providers of natural resources exploration data and information expertise, will be exhibiting at the forthcoming 23rd Africa Upstream 2016 Conference which will be held in Cape Town, South Africa between 31st October and 4th November.
The conference will bring together some of the continent’s National Oil Companies, government departments, licencing agencies and companies such as Getech, so that all interested parties can explore future opportunities in both off and on-shore locations throughout Africa.
Getech will be there to highlight how their expertise in providing gravimetric and magnetic data can provide explorationists with a much richer and fuller understanding of under-explored basins.
The company also recently completed the acquisition of oil and gas ArcGIS platform specialists, Exprodat and so, can now provide their clients with a much wider range of exploration and production services.
Richard Heath, Director at ERCL, a Getech company explains more about why Getech views the African marketplace as being important and how they intended to support clients there: “We are fortunate to have developed long term relationships with a number of African governments and NOCs, and in particular in sub-Saharan Africa.”
He continues; “We strongly believe in the importance of working closely with our counterparts in Africa, and in seeking to ensure transfer of our experience, knowledge and skills to our partners. Attending the Africa Upstream event allows us to catch up with colleagues from across the continent.”
