Getech, providers of natural resources exploration data and expertise, are delighted to be attending the 17th Annual Africa Conference convened by the Houston Geological Society (HGS) and the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain (PESGB) starting September 10th, 2018 at the Norris Conference Centre in Houston, TX.
The conference program will include technical presentations on the petroleum opportunities provided by the region; including recent discoveries in West Africa along the transform margin and salt basins of Senegal and Mauritanian; continued onshore and offshore exploration in East Africa; new play concepts in mature offshore areas of Libya and Egypt and carbonate reefs similar to the Zohr discovery.
The meeting will also feature sessions comparing the initial estimates of major discoveries of the last decade to the ultimate field production, exploration programs on both east and west African margins and a panel discussion on Exploration in Africa.
