Getech, providers of natural resources exploration data and expertise, will be exhibiting in Dublin for the Atlantic Ireland Conference on Tuesday 30th & Wednesday 31st October 2018.
Getech, under an exclusive agreement with the Department of Communications, Climate Action & Environment (DCCAE), is the official release agent for the Irish Government’s offshore gravity and magnetic database.
Our experts will be present to share their knowledges and experiences in our Gravity and Magnetic data and analysis how these are an essential component of integrated geoscience interpretation projects, providing crucial insights into your areas of interest in order to help you minimise exploration risk.
Getech’s Gravity and Magnetic Product Manager, Simon Campbell, explains: “The Gravity and Magnetics are an essential partner to seismic and well data in an integrated exploration programme. We have been using our unparalleled experience of processing legacy data to create a database of great value to the oil industry.
Coupled with our skills in the generation of value-add products and provision of integrated interpretation services, we look forward to discussing how we can help exploration companies address some of the fundamental questions concerning crustal architecture, basin geometries and sediment thickness on the Atlantic Ireland margin.”
The overall aim of PIP is to promote hydrocarbon exploration and development activities by: strengthening of local support structures, funding of research data gathering and ‘land-based’ research in Irish offshore areas and providing a forum for co-operation amongst explorationists and researchers.
Visitors at the Clayton Burlington Hotel will be able to find Getech on stand 33.
