Free iPhone app!

GETECH, with partnership with the International Commission on Stratigraphy (ICS), have recently launched a free app called GETstrat for iPhone and iPad users!

The app will provide geology enthusiasts with an interactive reference tool detailing the subdivisions of geological time from the Pre-Cambrian period to the Cenozoic.

One key feature of GETstrat is that is follows the International Stratigraphic Chart established by ICS as the ‘fundamental scale for expressing the history of the Earth’. The app also has a searchable format with additional information of value to the geological community.

Simply go to the App Store on your iPhone/ iPad to download this free app now. Never again need you admit you don’t know your Aalenian from your Zanclean!
