Sales Geologist

We are currently looking to recruit a Sales Geologist, whose primary role will focus on selling our geological exploration studies and products, assessing client needs and generating proposals/tenders. The position will be based in either Leeds or Houston, and involve significant overseas travel. A competitive salary, commensurate with industry standards and the individual's experience, will be offered.

The ideal candidate will:

• Demonstrate a knowledge of petroleum geology
• Be able to promote, market and sell geological ideas, studies and services to technical and non-technical audiences
• Have strong numeracy and IT skills
• Possess excellent communication skills and be fluent in English, both in writing and orally

In addition, the following skills will be beneficial:

• Significant experience in the oil and gas industry
• Experience of marketing and selling geological studies and services to the oil industry
• Be flexible and able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Experience of ArcGIS software
